The International Centre for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV) is an international advocacy organisation founded in 2022 by leaders of Ukrainian civil society — the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC), the ANTS network and the OPORA Civil Network. We work with governments, parliaments and international institutions across Europe and North America to secure everything Ukraine needs to win its war against Russia: weapons, sanctions against the aggressor, the confiscation of frozen Russian assets, a special tribunal for the crime of aggression, and a clear path to EU and NATO membership.

Our tools are research and analysis, direct engagement with decision-makers, public campaigns (#MAKERUSSIAPAY, #MAKERUSSIASMALLAGAIN), and international events and actions in dozens of cities worldwide.

What we do:

• Political advocacy — direct engagement with ministers, MPs, diplomats and experts; advocacy missions to EU and G7 capitals; work with EU and NATO institutions.
• Research and analysis — policy papers, briefs and evidence that inform political decisions and international investigations.
• Public campaigns — #MAKERUSSIAPAY (confiscation of frozen Russian assets), #MAKERUSSIASMALLAGAIN, the “Never Again 2.0” Sustainable Peace Manifesto.
• Communications and media — international media relations, social media, visual content, public events, panels and press conferences.
• Mobilising the diaspora and allies — rallies, forums and events with Ukrainian communities in more than 30 cities worldwide.

Our track record. Our campaigns and analysis have been heard from the floor of the European Parliament and national parliaments, at the Munich Security Conference and the Ukraine Recovery Conference, and our research has been submitted to the International Criminal Court. Positions ICUV championed first have gone on to become part of EU sanctions packages and decisions on Russian assets.

Responsibilities

1. In coordination with the core advocacy team, coordinates key advocacy campaigns to ensure the implementation of the Foundation’s strategic priorities.
2. Monitors the implementation of all the Foundation’s advocacy campaigns as defined by the strategic session and/or the work plan.
3. In cooperation with the core advocacy team, develops and monitors the implementation of the Foundation’s quarterly work plan; prepares and updates the calendar of advocacy activities.
4. Coordinates the preparation of analytics, briefs, talking points and similar materials for every advocacy trip and/or for the participation of core advocacy team members in events.
5. Maintains the Foundation’s contacts database.
6. Oversees the preparation of regular programmatic reporting to the Foundation’s donors.
7. Builds partnerships for the Foundation.
8. Takes part in advocacy trips.
9. Implements other program-related activities.

Requirements

Essential:

• at least 3 years of experience in program, project or advocacy roles at a civil society organisation, think tank, international institution or public authority;
• a proven record of managing several parallel projects or campaigns and coordinating a team’s work;
• a solid grasp of the international agenda on Ukraine: sanctions, defence support, Russian assets, accountability for war crimes, EU and NATO integration;
• an understanding of how decisions are made within the EU, NATO and partner governments;
• experience with planning (work plans, activity calendars) and programmatic donor reporting;
• fluent English (C1+) — our working language for daily communication, documents and meetings; fluent Ukrainian;
• strong analytical and writing skills: the ability to turn complex material into a brief, a set of talking points or a policy message quickly;
• readiness for regular international travel and a valid international passport;
• a high degree of autonomy, the ability to hold several deadlines at once and to make decisions in a fast-moving environment.

A strong advantage:

• French language skills — a significant share of our advocacy work is focused on Brussels and Paris, so the ability to work with francophone interlocutors, media and documents will considerably strengthen your application;
• other partner-country languages (German, Polish);
• experience of working or studying in Brussels, Paris or other European capitals;
• an existing network among policymakers, diplomats, analysts or journalists;
• experience with donor reporting (EU, government and private foundations);
• experience organising international events, panels and conferences;
• a relevant degree: international relations, law, political science, public policy or security studies.

Conditions

• Format: full-time; remote or hybrid (Kyiv).
• Travel: regular advocacy trips to European capitals, primarily Brussels and Paris; travel costs are covered by the organisation.
• Compensation: competitive, discussed individually at interview stage depending on experience.
