On February 24th, Ukrainians and supporters of Ukraine worldwide will mark the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine with mass actions. We will gather in city squares to raise awareness of the devastating war Ukraine is enduring.

On this day, among the chants will be the call to #MakeRussiaPay. Protesters will display meter-long checks detailing Russia’s crimes in the war against Ukraine. These include damages inflicted by Russia on the Ukrainian economy, culture, housing sector, education, medicine, and more. The check indicates a sum of $300 billion that Russia can already pay for the committed offenses. Western governments froze the assets of the Russian Central Bank for this amount in the early days of the full-scale war. We call for the transfer of these assets to Ukraine!
